BLEH!

We lost. We got the merit award which includes a very nice paper weight and some certificates. Not much of a compensation considering it cost about $800+ to produce our entry.

I met some of the SCS people at the reception. I was surprised they recognised me. "Hey weren't you one of the guys that came for the interview the other day? You're a finalist?" Given that SCS was judging the competition. I'm not to optimistic about my chances of winning the IT Youth Leader Award either.

While I'm rather disappointed with the outcome, I will refrain from making any comments because my opinion is biased. At least the food at the reception buffet was good. Celine also encouraged all of us to accept the loss graciously.
