吃饭，皇帝大???
Interesting new quote from my mom, supposedly it's a Hokkien saying: 吃饭，皇帝大 "Jia peng, huong deh dua".Translation: A man has the status of an Emperor when he's eating.
Meaning: No one or no issue (no matter how urgent) is allowed to interrupt you when you're having a meal. I guess it explains why a lot of chinese people get really irritated when you give them a call at meal time.
