I walk down the street....
Okay, the title doesn't explain itself... let me explain.. I was walking down the street of CampusLink today when i got a call from Jo Chew from Estee Lauder Companies (ELC). She is the PA of the HR Director from ELC. She still sounded the same. Really miss the lunching session I have back in ELC with the ladies from the HR department people. Nice folks they have there.
Well, coming back to my story, we fix an appointment to meet Leo (HR Director), Jeanette (L&D Manager), Jasmine (IS Regional Manager) on the 9 of Sep. Look forward to that meeting to clarify things out regarding project. Hopefully we can give them a prototype.
Would be visting the office space today after class! Yeah.. I am excited. Leonard told me tt we will be sharing a workspace.. hur hur.. Winne the Pooh invasion!!!! And the unlimited supply of Dr Pepper! Yesh yesh yesh!! Will tell you guys more about it in the next blog..

Me fix da' Blog good...
Was having some major "tumach" (tummy + stomach, new word invented by Sharon) malfuction this moring. Main suspect is the seafood I had at ECP with Sharon and Huiwen on Saturday night. Heh, maybe I can get some tonic for my stomach in my cooler when I get it back from Sharon.

Looks like the blog components I developed for the simpleBlogTM engine (which we abandoned in June) came in handy afterall. I've made the following improvements to our site:
a) fixed the music player
b) added javascript functions so that our architecture diagram and other images can "pop-up"
c) modifed personal description modules to load images dynamically (photos update on the fly like MSN if we change them)
Check out the music player; it's quite cool in that it remembers which song you were last playing and which playlist you were on. This way if you prefer Muchacha's playlist it will load automatically so you don't have to load my playlist first.
Muchacha has yet to upload her songs and playlist, so nothing loads if you select the other playlist.
"¡Apùrese, Muchacha!"I've been thinking about adding a few more features like: a dynamic development timeline, calendar and milestones display, keydate reminder system, our TYLER IM, etc.

overkill since this is just the project site, not our actual project. Tomorrow it's time to wrap up the form manager for Max's sales software and port it over to our LDMS.
Tomorrow is the first official day of work at our new office. Will have some photos (and the photo gallery) up when we're properly settled in.
It is gonna rock!
Thoughts of the day.
This is also officially my first blog. It is pretty cool how this entire project came about and I am pretty excited.
Had our first meeting with Prof Pang today where he went through various admin issues concerning our Project. Really nice guy to work with, well, that is a good start. We submitted out Proposal, Functional Requirements and a brief Architecture Diagram. For those interested... it is in the Files Section, you can download it and have a look. Will be having a meeting with Prof Pang next tuesday.. till then, it will be loads of readings for other courses.
